Launch Transportation Tickets Now on Sale at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for SpaceX Falcon 9 NROL 77 Launch – NET December 9

WHAT: No earlier than (NET) Tuesday, December 9, the SpaceX Falcon 9 NROL-77 mission is scheduled to launch from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission, launched through the National Security Space Launch (NSSL) program, carries a national security payload designed, built and operated by the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in partnership with U.S. Space Force Station Systems Command (SSC).

 Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, recently ranked the number one attraction in the U.S. in Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards, will offer some of the best public viewing opportunities available.

 The Gantry at LC-39, located approximately 3.35 miles from SLC-40, will provide Launch Transportation Ticket (LTT) holders premium launch viewing. Priced at $99 (+ admission and tax), the LTT includes:

• Bus transportation to/from The Gantry
• Access to bleachers at The Gantry
• Real-time launch audio, video feed and commentary from a space-expert communicator

Daily admission is required to purchase an LTT for this launch.

Additional launch viewing included with admission will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at:

• The Apollo/Saturn V Center and Banana Creek, accessible via the KSC Bus Tour
• Select main campus locations including the Atlantis North Lawn

Each of these locations will feature live launch commentary provided by a space expert and a live video feed.

For guests purchasing the LC-39 LTT, check-in and bus boarding will begin at 1 p.m.

UPDATED SCRUB POLICY:

• FIRST LAUNCH ATTEMPT:
• If the launch is postponed after a guest has boarded a bus to The Gantry at LC-39 for the first attempt, the LTT will remain valid for the second launch attempt. Guests will receive a Return Admission Voucher to be exchanged for a visitor complex daily admission ticket valid for the date of the next launch attempt to use with the LTT.
• SECOND LAUNCH ATTEMPT:
• If the launch is postponed after guests have boarded a bus to The Gantry at LC-39 for the second attempt, all elements of the LTT are considered used in full.

**All launch transportation tickets are mission specific, not date/time specific. Launch transportation tickets are non-transferable to another mission. If guests are holding a Launch Transportation Ticket (LTT) and the launch is postponed before boarding a bus, the LTT will be valid for the next attempt to view the launch from the designated launch viewing site.
