Allegiant airlines began their newest non-stop flights to Pittsburgh, PA, and the company is offering one-way fares on the new route as low as $39.

“We’re thrilled to start service for the first time at Melbourne Orlando International Airport,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and planning. “The Space Coast has so much to offer leisure travelers, from its historic downtown and great outdoor experiences to the Kennedy Space Center. We think vacationers in Melbourne will appreciate our unique brand of travel: low-cost, non-stop flights without the hassle of layovers or connections.”

According to a release, seats, and dates are limited, and fares are not available on all flights. Tickets should be purchased by Saturday, November 13, 2021, for travel by February 13, 2022.

The Melbourne Orlando International Airport will also be offering free parking to passengers for up to three days who fly on Allegiant in November and December.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Allegiant to its new coastal gateway to Central Florida,” said Greg Donovan, A.A.E., executive director at Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB). “The new flights from Pittsburgh are arriving just in time, providing travelers with a warm, low-cost, and stress-free option to escape the winter months. As one of Allegiant’s newest destinations, passengers seeking fun in the sun can now land right in the heart of Florida’s Space Coast with easy access to our world-famous beaches, cruises, theme parks, and more.”

The new route will operate twice weekly. For more information, visit www.Allegiant.com.
