Garden Club of Indian River County - Garden Fest 2020

Date:
2/1/2020 at 9:00 AM to 2/2/2020 at 5:00 PM

Event Description

The 19th Annual Gardenfest

Since 2002, the Garden Club of Indian River County has hosted Gardenfest!  Nature’s Finest Marketplace at Vero Beach’s Riverside Park the first weekend in February. This event is one of the largest free and family-friendly garden shows in Florida. It has become one of the major attractions for the Treasure Coast with over 85 vendors participating and 20,000 garden enthusiasts attending.

Gardenfest! returns on February 1 & 2, 2020. Attendees are encouraged to bring their wagons to shop for garden gems, and enjoy the amazing vendors, lectures, demonstrations, food, and raffle prizes.

Gardenfest! event leadership has again sought out the highest quality vendors of plants, planters, pottery, fountains, furniture, lighting, statuary and other garden accessories. Suppliers are pleased to offer Florida natives, unusual tropical's and unique plant specimens. Vendors prepare their displays with great skill and care to give gardeners the latest trends in plant materials and garden design.

Plants for sale will include palms, ferns, orchids, bromeliads, herbs, succulents, bamboo, fruit trees, bonsai, roses and geraniums. Vendors are always happy to answer questions and give guidance.
In addition, “Ask the Experts,” sessions will be conducted each day with free lectures, demonstrations and Q & A sessions all led by local specialists. The Food Court and a Youth Activity tent are spaced in the center of the vendors to allow visitors to take a break from shopping.

Wonderful raffle prizes will be gathered in a number of collections. There is something for everyone including golf packages, restaurants, theatre, entertainment, spa treatments, jewelry, art work and of course gardening. Winners do not have to be present to win.

Proceeds from Gardenfest!  help fund the club’s local student scholarships and community outreach programs aimed at enhancing, preserving and beautifying the landscape of Indian River County plus educating those interested in related topics.

Gardenfest! as always, has free admission and parking - rain or shine!

The Garden Club of Indian River County Inc. has been a member of The Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. since 1933 and is affiliated with the National Garden Clubs, Inc.
