Wildlife Bear Bustle 3K | Saturday, February 8th | 6 –8:30pm

 
 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Zip through the Zoo during our 14th annual 3k race organized by Running Zone Foundation! Participate in the 7 am race (for runners who can finish in under 20 minutes) or the 7:35 am race (for those who need a little more time). A free “kiddie run” follows.

Registration includes:

  • Race shirt (save $5 with “no-shirt” option)
  • Breakfast catered by Double D’s BBQ
  • Beer (for participants ages 21 years and up)
  • 50% off Zoo admission on the day of the race (race number required)
  • Entry into drawing for $500 Disney gift card

Help us celebrate the Zoo at Safari Under the Stars, one of the county’s most hotly anticipated events. Featuring sumptuous food and drink, world-class entertainment and a thrilling live auction, this fundraiser is one to remember!

Jean-Michel Cousteau is a famed French explorer and environmentalist, and the founder of the Ocean Futures Society. Like his father Jacques before him, Jean-Michel has dedicated his life to educating the world about our wonderful “water planet” and inspiring action for its protection.

Jean-Michel has produced more than 80 films, which have earned him Emmy, Peabody and CableACE awards. His 2006 documentary Voyage to Kure is credited with inspiring President George W. Bush to establish the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument in Hawaii.

Arctic Blast | Tuesdays in June & July |11:30am - 1pm

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Need somewhere to chill out this summer? Cool off at the wildest place in town during Arctic Blast Tuesdays! Every Tuesday in June and July at 11:30 am and 1 pm, we’ll drop giant ice cubes into the Paws On Play Lagoon. The ice melts quickly, so be sure to arrive on time!

 

Boo at the Zoo | October 9 – 11, 16 – 18 & 23 – 25 | 5:30 – 9 pm (Fridays & Saturdays), 5:30 – 8 pm (Sundays)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Boo at the Zoo is back and more spooktacular than ever! Stop by the Zoo in October to experience this family-favorite Halloween activity featuring more than 30 treat stations each weekend. Once you’ve had your fill of candy, rock out with our DJ, explore the haunted house (recommended for ages eight and up), take an adventure on the Boo Choo Train, channel your competitive spirit with fun games and go for the gold in our costume contest! 

Since Boo at the Zoo is an evening event, most animals are not on exhibit. Last admission one hour prior to event close. 

 

 

Jazzoo | Saturday, November 7th | 7 – 11 pm

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Featuring unlimited food from more than 50 restaurants, numerous open bars stocked with top-shelf libations and performances from a diverse array of musicians across nine stages, Jazzoo is a night you won’t soon forget! Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
