Episode 57 Paul O'Leary, Director of Marketing for the USSSA (the United States Specialty Sports Association)

Join us Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m. We will be speaking with our guest Paul O'Leary, Director of Marketing for the USSSA (the United States Specialty Sports Association), at the Space Coast Sports Complex.

The United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) was founded as the United States Slow-pitch Softball Association in the Spring of 1968 and currently governs 13 amateur sports nationally. Now sports teams from all over the United States come to the Sports Complex to compete and showcase their skills.

The USSSA Space Coast Complex is home to many sporting events like the upcoming Space Coast Cup Super-Regional Championship June 23-27 and the USSSA Space Coast World Series June 28 - July 3.


 

Episode 56 - Canaveral Port Authority Chairman Wayne Justice

Join us Friday, June 18 at 10 a.m. We will be speaking with Canaveral Port Authority Chairman Wayne Justice, a retired U.S. Coast Guard Admiral.

We will discuss cruising from Port Canaveral, tourism in the Cove area of the Port, and his coveted position as a military aide to President George H.W. Bush and President Bill Clinton.

Justice lived in the White House and traveled aboard Air Force One to all four corners of the globe because wherever the President went, Justice went.


 

Episode 55 Visitor Services Manager, Kim King-Wrenn of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge

Join us Friday, June 11 at 1 p.m., at the Visitor Center at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, in Titusville

We will be talking with the Visitor Services Manager, Kim King-Wrenn. She works on permitting for the eco-tour guides, and her team hosts over 1.5 million visitors to the Center each year.

The Center provides tours and lectures for visitors from around the world and environmental learning experiences for local schoolchildren.


 

Episode 54 - Quinisha Bredwood Owner of Q's Crackin' Crab and Seafood Kitchen and Administrative Director Shayla Murray

Join us on Friday, June 4, at 11 a.m. as we sit down with Q (Quinisha Bredwood) Owner and Manager of Q’s Crackin’ Crab and Seafood Kitchen in Cocoa Beach.

We’ll be discussing the history of Q’s while learning more about Quinisha and her interest in opening a fast-casual seafood kitchen, offering soulful flavored seafood options cooked to order.

Seeking to give the area an alternative to the usual seafood options, the staff at Q’s pride themselves on the quality products, the flavor spectrum, and a few dishes that aren’t available just anywhere around town. Being open almost 11 months... Q’s is out here making waves.
